Why can't I get my messenger to load?

Cant get my messenger to load up.?

  • i upgraded to yahoo messenger 9, now i can't get the Messenger window to open up. On the home page, over on the right, i can pull it down it says there is people there, but won't open up or let me leave a message.

    Version 9 is a piece of junk !! (to put it nicely) Go back to v. 8.1 here >>> http://www.freecreed.com/ymsgr-archive.html I do recommend you get the 8.1.0.421 version as it is the most stable a bug free version of messenger !! When you download it just save it to your desktop and then run the installer from there. If you have XP just double click on it to start the install. If you are on Vista you will need to Right click on it(the installer you just downloaded) then click "Run as Administrator" to get it to install correctly.
