Help with my Yahoo Messenger?

I cannot connect yahoo messenger to the internet it keeps giving me connection error messages help me please?

I am currently using windows7 before I was able to use my yahoo messenger. but when my system UPDATED my yahoo messenger keeps on telling me to check LAN connections already checked It and its good. Ive already uninstall & reinstall my messenger 10 i have unblocked yahoo messenger from my system fire wall and compared this issue with my other units using the same OS and for my desktop my works I need help please do help me out with this I really need my yahoo messenger.

Try this Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings - Uncheck all settings except 'Automatically detect setting' If you have Messenger 10 a copy of the sign in troubleshooting log would be a useful addition to your question
