Whats the newest version of windows live messenger ?

  • i tryed to download 9.0 and even windows live beta but none work this error code keeps saying : msi_check: 0x80280002 Next Steps: your version of windows installer is out of date. how do i fix this ? and what is the newest version of windows live messenger? i am currently using a very very old version of msn and i dont like it please help

    There's only one version available on the MSN site. If you go to the download page, you'll find it there. I strongly suggest you download the Windows Installation Tool first as Windows is a notoriously difficult download.

Below is the link to follow to download it. http://download.live.com/messenger (Before you download it, Un-install the version you now have...now, do an OFFline Search in Drive C Delete the old version folders, Empty Recycle Bin...Reboot your Computer for a Clean Install of WLM 10.)
