Yahoo Messenger problem...help?

Cant I have the yahoo messenger on my computer?

• I did a mistake in the yahoo messenger ,I had yahoo messenger 7 I wanted to upgrade to yahoo messenger 10 in the middle of dowlowding I changed my Idea to stay in the yahoo messenger 7 so I tryed to com back to yahoo messenger 7 but one window appeared writing due to a mistake you cannot have yahoo messenger again. As I am yahoo costumer for few years I ned to have yahoo messenger . Please be kind to help me . I thank you in advance [email protected]

  1) what i would do in this situation is do a 'system restore' at date or point prior to your attempted download. this will restore yahoo messenger to your the version 7 you said you had. i do not know what operating system you have, but if you have Vista and do not set up the sytem restore to take place, then you are out of luck for this problem (so in the future make sure you have the 'system restore' set up to have 'restore points'). If you have XP, you should be able to do a system restore with no problems 2) the other thing you can try is to go into the 'control panel' and select 'progams and freatures' (that is the name for VISTA - for XP is it someting similar and I have forgotten the name...lol). That will display all the programs you have on your laptop or pc. left click on 'yahoo messenger' and uninstall it. If this is sucessful, you will be able to download the new version of messenger. and if this does not work, then the 'system restore' is your only other option that i know of. Good luck!
