Why do I get disconnected form chat?

  • A message comes across the screen that says I have been disconnected from chat because someone else is on the same line with another device. I'm the only here. How can that happen?

    If you want Messenger and mail open at the same time you have to set your status to 'offline' in MAIL by using the drop-box next to your name and 'sign out of chat' If this is not the case someone may have hacked your account - when it happens exit all Yahoo programs, type your name in here and hit "GO" to see if your account is online somewhere else http://detectinvisible.com/
