How do you sign up for window live messenger?

Error code 81000306 wont let me sign into my windows live messenger?

• i have been having this issue for a few weeks now. i can sign onto my hotmail but not my messenger. when i attempt to log onto my windows live messenger it tries to sign in for about 5 minutes before showing a pop up window telling me i cant sign in. the error code comes up as 81000306. when i try troubleshooting it everything comes through as fine. after rebooting my computer several times, i tried deleting temporary files and cookies, fixing my proxy settings on my internet options, running the regsvr32 files that were suggested, clearing the DNS resolver cache, and fixing my firewall to allow MSNmsg.exe. im not sure what else to do anymore. anything ive found online or through support help hasn't helped. at this point id just be happy to uninstall the program so i can reinstall. i tried uninstalling it through the add/remove programs. still nothing happened even after i pulled the second windows messenger from the hidden files. the whole program is still up. if anyone has any idea how to fix the problem or even how to completely uninstall the program please let me know.

  umm..i'm slao the same problem..buh since u want deletes msn completely u must download " Windows Install Clean Up'. it will delete msn for you.
