How do I make my contact list in IM smaller?

Either restore my contact list or make the new one available to me. I don't have "contact" at the left?

• "contact" is not at the left of my little screen. I cannot click into a contact and see or change information concerning their address, name, etc.

  It is not clear if you are trying to use the chat in Yahoo Mail or if you are wanting to figure out how to use the new Contact folder which has replaced the Yahoo Address Book. In Yahoo Mail Classic, click the Contacts tab at the top. Click the name of your contact (not check the box) or if you only have the email showing click that, a window will open on the right that will show contact information. Click Edit to edit this information. Check the box next to a contacts name if you want to move the contact to another category, email the contact, or to delete the contact. You will see those option on the right.
