Messenger closes , each time i try to log into chat rooms , yahoo closes , i log out , re- log in a different?

Have you verified your address for Chat? If not, you need to get that done before you'll be able to chat, it's mandatory. Also, it would be a good idea to send a few instant messages before trying to chat. Don't ask why, because wwe don't know why, only that Yahoo prefers it that way.
