Why wont yahoo messenger install properly on my computer?

• wat happens is i wud begin the installation and it wud get to where its almost done and then stop...and then it wud say it didnt intall properly...so i wud got to uninstall it and it wont let me do tht either...

  You probably don't have enough room on "C" drive to install it.....take these steps... 1...first lets get rid of Yahoo Messenger and all of its files....Start > search > all files and folders including hidden ones....target "C" Drive.....then use the search term Yahoo Messenger.....wait for the scan to complete....any files that come up.....click on finished searching first....then right click on each file and folder and delete.....once done.....messenger is now off your computer.... 2...Do a Disc Cleanup and a Disc Defragmentation >>> Start > all programs > accessories > system tools....Disc Cleanup and Disc Defrag.... 3. After that is done...go to this website and download CC Cleaner....its free....it will wipe all your non-needed temp files and clean out the registry that is more than likely full of errors... http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/ Once that is downloaded run the scan and clean up temp files and do a registry scan also... When that is completed....now you are ready to download Yahoo Messenger....just a bit of advise...use the more reliable older versions....I personaly use 8.1 version because its user friendly and never have had a problem with it.....I just delete the Yahoo Updater file ...that way it wont remind me to update....
