Why does the server sign me out of my messenger?

I cant sign in to yahoo messenger.I think the yahoo server is the problem!!.what can i do?

i have a problem with messenger and i think the server is the problem..please help me!!!!i have try all 4 options in connection preferences and nothing still i cannot sign in...

Have you a firewall? You may need to check to see if it is blocking Yahoo Messenger. There's a tiny chance that their servers may not be working, but I have to say that's doubtful.

Yes, check your firewall settings. It could also be a temporary problem with your Internet Service Provider. Try again in 5 minutes and see if it's cleared up.
