How do I get my Yahoo! to stop logging on automatically in a continuous loop?

Nothing unusual has happened to my computer at all in the last week. However, suddenly for no apparent reason, when I click on the Yahoo! Messenger icon on my desktop to log in, it will log me in, immediately log me out, log me back in again, immediately log me back out.......and it never stops. It's like a stuck record. If anyone has had this automatic log-on continuous looping problem before, please let me know if and how you were able to correct it. In the meantime I have to use the limited features of Yahoo! Beta. Thank you all SO very much in advance........RJ

Just remove your check mark form sign me in automatically and it will be fine.if you have still problem then reinstall your Messenger. gooe luck!

I am getting exactly the same problem. I tried uninstall and reinstall, still same. I tried with trillian, same issue. But when i connect with meebo, absolutely fine. Also on web when you check through your mail box works. YAHOO! sort this out.
