I cant load my yahoo messenger, it keeps going back to sign in, what am i doing wrong?

it keeps asking for my password on verizon then doesnt start up, i tried everything i know but i still cant get messenger to load, can anyone help me???

Did that for me, too. Or it would sign in for 3 seconds and then say there was a problem and did I want to Try Again? I've been wanting a new screen name anyway so I just deleted my old account and made a new one!
