Why can't I install MSN live messenger?

I cant install windows live messenger again?

• well there was something wrong with my windows live messenger so i tried to reinstall it. once i uninstalled it i cannot install it again. when i try download it from the internet, i dont know why but it doesnt work on the main windows live messenger website. because i have it downloaded from before i click it and try install it but it says it cant be done because i am not connected to the internet but i am connected to the internet. . before i went to my windows firewall and went to the area where it lets the programs that windows firewall lets me get access to and i unclicked windows live messenger. but now i went back to windows firewall and wanted to click windows live messenger but now it is not there anymore.. someone HELP i cant download/install windows live messenger anymore

  You do not say what browser you are using - I suspect it is not IE and IE is probably set to work offline in Tools. Even if you do not use IE you have to keep it up to date as it is working in the background.
