What is the problem i cant open my yahoo messenger i cant sign in?

i have been getting the same message for a few days now,i was fixing to take my tower in to have it looked at .maybe it is just the yahoo net work

You may just need to install a newer version. If you have it already, re-install it.

The server or the program crashed. try going to ad/remove programs, remove it , re-install it and re-boot. All your info should still be there.

First of all if you made a account under the age of 18 then you can't go into a chatroom anyways. Otherwise try doing this. 1. Go to Control Panel. 2. Go to Add/Remove Programs. 3. Find Yahoo Messenger and click Remove or whatever your option is out to the right. Then you will have the option to either remove or repair yahoo messenger. Choose Repair. 4. If that doesn't resolve the problem then go right back into the Add/Remove Programs and remove Yahoo Messenger completly and then go back to www.messenger.yahoo.com and redownload Yahoo Messenger.
