How do i fix my messenger?

How can I fix this problem in my messenger ( no connexion)???

I BEEN TRYING TO SIGN INTO MY MESSENGER, BUT THE ONLY WINDOW I SEE IS THE ONE TO SIGN IN (I LOOK LIKE I'M INVISIBLE ALL THE TIME), BUT NOTHING HAPPEN WHEN I DO THAT. I'M ABLE TO SEE IF SOMEONE IS ONLINE BUT ONLY BECAUSE MY YAHOO PAGE. OTHER THAN THAT I'M NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE OR SEND MESSAGES TO MY FRIENDS. I'M NOT ABLE TO SEE MY CONTACTS OR CHANGE MY SETTINGS ON IT. PLEASE HELP ME !!! I HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS. I UNISTALL THE MESSENGER TO SEE IF THAT WORKS BUT NOTHING HAD CHANGE. it is also a weird thing happening each time I go to my messenger the windo is big it doesn't fit in my screen I have to go to my control panel to fix it, but if I close the messenger my screen goes back to normal.
