Windows Live Messenger Has Stopped Working.?

  • hey guys Okay, so my toshiba notebook is running on windows 7, and everytime i go to open WLM (Windows Live Messenger) it comes up with ; 'WLM Has stopped working, windows will notify you when a solution is available.' Ive tried Uninstalling it, Re-Installing it, Repairing it, Using that zapmessenger thingo, Installing older versions but NOTHING is working. Please help, i basically only use my computer for WLM, and i have to use ebuddy for the time being. Thanks.

  • Answer:

You should back up any files you need and then reformat it and try installing it again. This is a device that allows you to do so: http://www.topmicrousa.com/bt-300.html You connect the old hard drive to this device, and then the device to a another computer or laptop via USB. You would then be able to access all the files on it. I got the device off a PC World Magazine Article. Best of luck!
