Why my yahoo messenger not work?

Why doesn't the latest Yahoo Messenger 8 (BETA Version) work successfully where the older Yahoo IMs can work ?

Sometimes u face problems in successfully connecting to the server using the Yahoo 8 beta Version. u can easily install, but u cant successfuly use it. It happens many times.. and the answers u get r that u need to use "proxy server".. but the mess can be got ridden by simply using the Yahoo older versions... which works so perfectly without any server/connection problems ! Y doesnt the Yahoo 8 Beta Version work successfully when its older versions can work so perfectly ??

You could consider uninstall your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.1.0.195. You could also find a list of previous versions of Yahoo! Messenger on the right panel.
