How can I access my friends and family list?

I downloaded Y messinger/voice. I only get the friends list and not the screen where I can access chat room?

You could consider uninstall your current Yahoo! Messenger and download from this link @ http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_messenger/. The latest version is Yahoo! Messenger 8.0.0.716. There is a list of previous versions on the right panel for you to select.

Please click on the Messenger Button the top of Messenger. A list of options will be displayed. Click on Yahoo Chat. A small window will be opened. Click on JoinRoom. Once you entered the chat room, please select the chat room you like for chat
