Why wont yahoo messenger install on my computer?

Why cant i install messenger 7 or any other yahoo messenger on my computer?

i know they have yahoo messenger for the web now with out no down load but just want to know why yahoo messeneger wont download all the way on my pc it keeps on saying file not there or its been corupted

Yahoo Messenger is at the 8.1 level. Whatever link you are using to download from may be trying to get at a version that is no longer there. Try going to messenger.yahoo.com and download from there.

Perhaps , u have not updated your windows, Before trying to download, go to window update and download all the updates. Once u have finished updating your window, then go to yahoo and download messenger. This will solve your problem.
