How to install plug-ins for Yahoo messenger?

Something's wrong with one of my Yahoo Messenger plug-ins?

I tried playing the new "guess the car" plug-in for YM but even when both me and the person i wanna play with already clicked the start button for the game, it's stuck saying "waiting for other player" Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
