Is anyone else having trouble with the new Yahoo homepage?

Is anyone else having trouble logging into yahoo messenger?

I was using yahoo messenger a couple hours ago now and all the sudden when I was chatting I got disconnected from yahoo messenger. Well, I thought it was my internet connection BUT all my other chat devices were working fine and so was Internet Explorer. I tried shutting down and rebooting now atleast 3 times to no avail. I also tried connecting and reconnecting to the internet several times as well to see it that resolved it and still nothing. I even tried deleting yahoo messenger and reinstalling BUT still nothing it will not let me log into yahoo messenger at all. Is anyone else having trouble?

I spoke with Yahoo! customer care. Yesterday, July 22nd 2006, Yahoo! experienced an outage which caused intermittent login issues for Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Voice, and some Yahoo! Mail users. While it wasn’t an issue to login to Yahoo! Answers and ask about the outage, some Yahoo! sites/products were affected. This issue is now resolved and you can now login.

I am also having problems signining in to yahoo messenger and it is frustrating why cant yahoo give some indication if the system is down i see there are many others who also have the same problem
