Answer:
This is a common problem. There are many reasons why this will happen, but without more information, it's hard to say what exactly is wrong but, This is most likely an effect of Malware installed on your system. Have you run a Malware scan? 1. Exit Y! Messenger. 2. Scan your system with a Malware scanner and clean any infections. 3. Restart your computer. If you do not have a Malware scanner, you can find many free Anti-Malware programs free on the web. I recommend Malwarebytes. get it here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Let us know how it goes. You are not on your own with this problem and it is a global problem with Yahoo Messenger and I don't think it is related to your PC. There have been a lot of questions about this. I contacted the Yahoo Messenger Customer Care Team and they are looking into this problem as a matter of urgency. I am giving you a link to Yahoo Messenger Help page, and the help page for troubleshooting scripting problems in Vista and Windows7: On the first link, where it says "Search", try inputting "Script Problems". The person I chatted to told me they want to try to help people further with this problem. You can sometimes chat live with a member or email them but I advise the chatting live approach. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger10/forms_index.html;_ylt=ArbXYfXTeC84RFieOZ3ZcQFlw3dG?last_url=http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messenger/messenger10/index.html If your problem doesn't get resolved, use Yahoo Messenger for the Web in the meantime.
