Why isn't Yahoo messenger opened?

My yahoo messenger 10 isnt installing?

  • I had a virus on my computer and i got rid of it but after wards i couldnt use my yahoo messenger or internet explorer so i had thought that i needed the new version of yahoo and downloaded the setup. but when i went to set it up it said there was a problem with my internet connection even though i have full connection to the internet. so i tried logging into yahoo again and this time i trouble shoot and i got this Checking virtual IP servers... [PASSED] [VIP Http] FAILED *** 'COMPONENT_TYPE_YCP' YCPError: 'YMSG.ColoSelectionFailed' *** So then i was lead to beleve it was my firewall settings but it isnt i have completely shut off my firewall and tried again but nothing. I know there is something wrong with my proxy server and something about my ports but i dont know how to fix it please someone help me

    Please check your connection setting from Internet Explorer Option. INTERNET EXPLORER --> TOOLS --> INTERNET OPTION --> CONNECTION on DIAL UP and VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK SETTINGS, choose which connection you use now, then click on Setting on the right side, then ONLY PUT CHECK on AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTING. on another setting, make it clear/empty check. the save the setting. then try to sign in you Yahoo Messenger.
