How do you add friends to your friends list in messenger?

Now a days, i am not able to add new friends to my messenger list.?

  • The request from online friends to add their names will come everytime when i log in. and i used to accept those everytime. But it wont add up. What should i do to rectify these error? Because of this problem, now a days am not able to know whether they are online and even they cant know i am online or not. Please help.

    It's a bug some people are running into in version 8.0. Help Yahoo! find it and fix it. Click "Enable Logging" in the Help menu. Try to sign in a view your contacts and make sure it still doesn't work. Now click "Submit Logs" in the Help menu. Be sure to put in a brief description of the problem, and then Send It saves out diagnostic information about how the program is running, it's communications with the Messenger servers, your computer settings etc. You can then submit the logs to Yahoo! along with a description of a problem you are having. The logs will help Yahoo! debug the problem and fix it.
