Why cant i install yahoo messenger on my computer?

Cant find Yahoo Messenger 10..ANYWHERE on my computer!!?

I installed Yahoo Messenger 10 on my computer and I cant find it anywhere!! I have tried everything and it cant be found. I tried to reinstall and it tells me error: cant locate resource DLL. I tried to download an older version and now it tells me:A newer verion of Yahoo Messenger (10.0.0.1270) is already instaled. To install this older version (9.0.0.2018). first uninstall the newer one. The PROBLEM is there is NO newer one anywhere on my computer!! PLEASE HELP!!!! Thank you in advance!

yahoo messenger is in your program tray.click on start and in program u can see yahoo messenger other wise go to control pannel and uninstall yahoo messenger completly and restart your computer an again install yahoo messener....it will work

Navigate to Program Files open the Yahoo Folder and then the Messenger folder find the UNWISE.exe file. Double click this to run it. This is the uninstaller file. And as a last resort, you might just have to manually delete the Yahoo Messenger folder yourself. Navigate to Program Files on your hard drive and delete the Messenger folder inside of the Yahoo Folder. Follow this path (XP): My Computer>C: drive>Program Files>Yahoo>Messenger. Now reboot. Please note that doing a complete uninstall of Yahoo Messenger will erase your message archives
