How come everytime i download the new yahoo messenger it wont work for me, I miss my yahoo chat friends , help

I dont have at&t and it sez that at the top of my messenger , why, my internet provider tells me my computer is running properly , so its Yahoo thats messed up, I ve done everything wrote letters to yahoo, no answer, what is goin on, NOW i wish i would of never downloaded the new Yahoo messenger , if it works dont fix it , i changed passwords , even made up a new screen name . no good, i cant get into yahoo messenger , everything else works just messenger cant chat , help , help , help hurry too ..............

Try installing one of the older versions. YM7,0,2,120 is working well for me. This offers links to older version of Yahoo! maybe u need to install your connections options correctly for your firewall with proxysor without or if u got modem....check it up...
