Why webcams are busy?

Why do I lose the voice connection Yahoo Messenger once we view eachothers webcams?

  • When I connect with my friend, initially we talk back and forth okay then we connect us our respective webcams and not long after lose the voice part and have to communicate via the keyboard.. is this how its mean to be. I thought you could view webcams and talk to each other at the same time. maybe not. Would appreciate some feedback and if it is possible todo both then how do we reconnect the voice part???

    well recently yahoo has been doing some changes to the voice connection . Are your PC running fast enough on ram? Do you have many other things running in the background? you might want to turn off what is running in the back ground! And probably clean out your PC, like defrag,cookies,temp files etc

if your mic and webcam are the same hard ware it may be irreperable. if not its possible that your bandwith is so minmal that it cant handle that kind of transfer rate. try to lower the video quality on the cam. other than that.,.no idea..
