What can I do to get the same speed as yahoo classic?

Is ther any way to get my older version of Yahoo back ? I downloaded the new version 7 on a high speed loaded?

I had to go back to the older version, too. The new version listed my first and last name instead of my yahoo id. It was a mess. Customer support couldn't fix it, but they directed me to download.com to find the old version. He literally e-mailed me a link to download.com and waited on the phone while i installed it. go to oldversion.org or .net, and then just download, uninstall the new one.

Uninstall the current version of Yahoo! Messenger by going to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove old programs. This site offers older versions of messenger http://www.whiskeybentandhellbound.com/ov.html In order to keep from getting the 8.0 update, you will need to rename the yupdater.exe file.
