Why do I keep getting booted out of Yahoo IM?

I keep getting booted from yahoo IM anyone else with the same problem?

Yes, actually. Whenever I sign on, it says YIM will now exit, or whatever. I say just to use AIM. That never happens to me on AIM.

: uninstall it - click on start then control panel then click on add or remove programs find yahoo messenger, click on that, then follow the steps to uninstall / remove etc then download it again and install it again http://messenger.yahoo.com/download.php

Several people here at the University of Mississippi are having similar problems...most aren't behind a firewall. The problem is intermittent: login happens normally, but many IMs don't show up when they're sent, and show up later as offlines. Worse, messenger logs out (not a crash, or a freeze, but a logout) unpredictably, and often when you click on a name to open an IM window... Uninstalled and reinstalled, trouble-shot other issues on machines, nothing seems to help...HELP!!!
