Help with my Yahoo Messenger?

I need help with my yahoo messenger please help me !!!!!!!!?

  • People can you help me with my yahoo messenger ?? When i sign in and stuff and when I'm in a chat room through yahoo messenger ..I get messages that pop up saying so and so is no online...But these people that pop up were never on my messenger in the first place...I getting people I don't even know popping up saying they are on but they are not my friends on yahoo messenger. can someone explain to me why this is ?? why are people pooping on i don't even know and yahoo is telling me they are online..??? its pissing me off. help or give me a reasonable explaintaion please... and how can I stop it??

    Do you mean this happens while you're in the chat room, or outside of it too? Cause I know in the chat rooms it always tells you when someone has joined it, or do you mean something different? Interesting. That's never happened to me.

alot of ppl are having that problem......I think beta 8 has alot of problems im trying to go back to old version

i have that problem and i think what it is,,,when somone goes to add you and you chose let them add you but not put them on your list, i think you see when they are comin and going,,,thats just my idea, not real sure
