Why isn't the text displayed in my yahoo IM chat window?

I just downloaded it and my window stays blank when i chat. i can't even see the text that I send. I tried the solution that was posted earlier (enable scripting in IE) which did not work. I use Firefox as my browser if that helps but I did make the changes in both browers.

ya i faced the same problem its the problem of yahoo may be bec. of virus or bad files try to install older version of yahoo it works properly here also
