Why i cant read messages in my yahoo messenger? what will i do?

Cant read messages in yahoo messenger?

  • i have tried everything that i can possble think of including downloading a new java script, uninstalling the new version of yahoo, downloading it again and reinstalling it and it still didnt work. I uninstalled that and downloaded an older version of yahoo and still cant read or see what others have written to me in a message i can see that the box appears and it even flashes to let me know that they have message me (how sweet of them) it would be much easier if i could read the message rather then guess at what the other party is saying..Has anyone else found a fix to this matter by any chance??? Thank you for all you help.

one of our members found a solution for their one... "Ok, I got my issues fixed. I went to Microsoft.com and downloaded a service pack and updated to IE 7. Not sure which really was the fix. But version 8 is working. I also updated my older version to 7.0.0.426 before stepping up to number 8. Thanks to all who were helping figure this out. I gave up for a couple weeks as you can tell. your computer can't support it thats why it's doing that. Look at the website again to make sure the systems match your computer. If it doesn't work, do you have a lot of hard disk files. it could be the reason why it doesn't function properly.

I have the exact same problem. I just posted a question just like this about 30 seconds ago. I don't really have an answer for this but if you find one please tell me. I would greatly appreciate this thank you very much. By the way i checked the link that was posted in one of the above answers it doesn't have anything containg are problem. I have tried everything you have and I can't find a solution. This is probably my last resort. Update: I found a solution to our problem it was to to me by Amanda W as an answer to one of my questions. What you have to do is download GAIM which is a multi instant messanger client that can run yahoo and many others. just go to google and serach for it. it should be the link with source forge in the title. I hope this helps.

un-install the messenger then install this 1 http://a3.msg.sc5.yahoo.com/download.php... the yahoo messenger 8.0 sux this is the classic uncorruopted 7.5 version hope it helps
