I am unable to log into messenger, how do I repair this problem?

I have already tried deleting and reloading the program. When I try to sign in it seems to be trying to connect and then it will just show the sign in screen again.

I just spoke with Yahoo! customer care. Today, July 22nd 2006, Yahoo! experienced an outage which caused intermittent login issues for Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Voice, and some Yahoo! Mail users. While it wasn’t an issue to login to Yahoo! Answers and ask about the outage, some Yahoo! sites/products were affected. This issue is now resolved and you can now login.

yahoos havin technical difficulties. so heres a way u can waste ur time while ur waiting. u can go see a horse lay an egg. by that time yahoo will be fixed.
