Is it illegal to do Nude chat on webcam in Yahoo chat rooms?

Why are women allowed to advertise their nude web sites in the yahoo chat rooms?

  • The chat rooms are so full of women that have programs to look like they are acually in the room. These programs seek out men and solicite them go to a yahoo profile to see them, where a web site will be given to watch them nude on webcams for a fee. It's as if Yahoo has an advertising site for "webcam sex for a price". How can those of us who are really in the room get rid of these professional women?

    Lots of those fake women are really chat bots. Chat Bots are software applications that run automated tasks over the internet that emulate human activities. Do not accept incoming messages from anyone (or anything) that refers you to a different website. If she tells you to go to the url located within her profile, instead of simply looking at her pics on her profile...tell her to take a hike b/c she's probably not real. Someone real & confident would send you the pics herself anyway, right? For more detail check out wilkipedia's definition of Internet Bot. I would suggest you find somewhere else to chat if you're sick of this. I know that isn't real fair - but enough is enough. Chat room spam has been going on for years in yahoo chat, & I doubt it'll ever cease. I started chatting in myspace; created a profile & downloaded their instant messenger. People seem to add others quickly to friends lists. If you browse around, say hello & send a friend request out, you'll most likely find a "real" lady instead of a by the minute "pro" (chat bot) Hope this helps!!

Those aren't real women, they are what is referred to as "bots" ran by a computer program. They do as you say, but Yahoo doesn't really allow it, they just haven't figured out a way to stop it yet. About the only thing we can do is to ignore them.

You can use a third party chat client such as Yazak, Yahelite, Ymlite and Yam that you can set filters on and wildcard ignores that will filter bots and spam from your chat screen. These chat client are an alternative to yahoo messenger and run on the yahoo servers to access the yahoo chat rooms. You can do an internet search for them.

They're usually bots doing that. Simply ignore the ID from the user list in the chat room that sends these advers.
