7/13 when i started my yahoo messenger the cities in my weather area were changed and i cannot get rid of them

i want to know how or why the cities that i have listed in my weather area on messenger were changed and who changed them. i can not get rid of them. When i tried to edit them they do not appear ( the current cities that are listed)
