Why won't my Yahoo messenger open up?

Having trouble loggoing in yahoo messenger.ever since i downloaded yahoo messenger it wont open. it takes ages?

ever since i downloaded yahoo messenger it wont open. it takes ages like 2 hours for the pop up box to come up.. my msn messenger pops up in a sec!!

If all else fails try this: Remove it if it is version 9.0. Then download and install version 8.1.0.421. below. version 9.0 is full of bugs. you won't lose your contacts http://www.filehippo.com/download_yahoo_... After doing that you may need to install the latest version of adobe flash player below. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplaye... You might also have to update your JAVA
