Where's my Yahoo avatar moved?

I need help in getting my Yahoo Avatar to show in my Yahoo IM?

  • I cannot see my avatar at all in yahoo IM and neither can my friends. I can see their avatar though and also I can see my avatar on 360 and my e mail. I have already gone to preferences and save my avatar and show to everyone so that is not the problem. Everytime I try to click show avatar in preferences it takes me to the yahoo avatar main page. Why I don't know! I click save avatar but when I go back to the preferences in IM. The checked box is back to do not show picture. I was so upset about that I uninstalled yahoo IM but before I reinstall it could there be something I left out in the set up ? I even tried to install macromedia flash player 9 but was unsuccessful. Please I need some help with this issue. Thanks !

    i think yahoo requires some time to upload ur avatar.me too had the same problem.it is automatically solved after few signing in and signouts.

Your not alone I too have the same problem currently. I was hopeing to get an answer on your question for myself as well but Singing in and out a million times ain't workin. I have been waiting over a week for mine to ummm "show up" to ummmm Give yahoo some time. I ain't sure if this is a firewall issue or not because it shows up every where else. Why not messenger. Oh by the way get the 7.0 back this may just be your problem 7.5 and 8.0 suck. when you install it save the download to desktop that way you can keep the installer should you ever need to reinstall. You wont have to redownload it every time.
