Why doesnt YAHOO MESSENGER WORK?

  • it's been like MORE than an hour for god sake and it still isnt working.,..and it is not only my pc..or my messenger..its everybody's...FIX IT!!! tnx...

    I spoke with Yahoo! customer care. Yesterday, July 22nd, 2006, Yahoo! experienced an outage which caused intermittent login issues for Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Voice, and some Yahoo! Mail users. While it wasn’t an issue to login to Yahoo! Answers and ask about the outage, some Yahoo! sites/products were affected. This issue is now resolved and you can now login.

People are asking abt problems they r facing with Yahoo IM 8 beta, Its a beta release of the full version, so there must be a lot of problems, I even couldn't login when I tried it... when I logged in I couldn't connect to chat room, when I connected to chat room I couldn't connect to the voice server.... not only that I couldn't get the email notification... so the last thing I did, I uninstalled the 8 beta and switched back to 7...and then it was all fine so wait for the full release of 8.0 and till then stick to 7... <and yes my messenger is working I'm online right now>
