How do you go back to the old version of Yahoo Messenger?

I tried to download the newest yahoo messenger and it didnt work. how can I go back to an older version of it

I deleted the newest messenger at least I think I did. I am computer illiterate when it comes to some of these things. I just want to be able to get back on and talk to my friends. Is there anyone out there that can help me with my problem here. I called a phone number but they couldn't help me then I sent an email to yahoo for some help. then I figured I'd try this part of it and see what happens.

Hey, the install I did of the newest version didn't move at all and showed only 0% downloaded and the screen was locked and I couldn't move the install window. But I found out ('cause I went to sleep during a second try) that at the very end it starts to move all of a sudden and finishes. Then none of the plug-ins worked, so I went back to 7.0. You can get the download by web keying "download yahoo messenger 7.0" and use the 10th selection which should be at download.com. I think it's the best for now. And it still installs like it did before with movement and doesn't lock the screen. Maybe later 7.5 and 8.0 will work right.
