Why does yahoo messenger mess up my computer every time I try to download it?

    First go start button settings control panel add/remove programs and uninstall the yahoo download and everything associated with it from your control panel. Then close control panel. If you have a My Computer icon, open it and right click on drive C go to properties then to tools tab, and set your computer (if your using XP) to check drive for errors. Be sure and put check marks in the box that says automatically fix errors. After this is complete and the computer is rebooted, right click on an empty place (no icon area) of your desktop and reset your display settings. Now download yahoo again and it should all be fine. Hope this helps.

lol may not be compatible or it may be something dealing with your display card try adjusting the display properties and see what happens I had that happen to me with the HP slimeline pc and it was bad the picture got so dame big like as if I was blind or not able to read the color got disfigured and if this is a brand new pc you need to take it back and if not you may need a new graphic chip or a new pc so check first go to msn and download the scan computer if you have that installed on your system scan and see if the product can find any errors on your system if not then you may have to restore to an earlier point yeah it was a headache when I tried to so I got so fed up that I took that dame thing back and to amazement there was a recall on the product
