How can i connect to chat server embedded in yahoo mail?when i press "c" its shows me offline?

when i login into my yahoo mail account i press "c" to conect with chat server embedded in yahoo mail it shows me offline or when i click on available it does not allow me to connect to the chat server or also does not change my status from offline to available.or some time it does not shows loading chat. its shows "loading........" after that my mail account gets hang.or even i am not able to compose a new mail due to this problem please take an action on it as soon as possible

This seems to be a glitch on yahoo, other users are having this same issue, be patient while yahoo tries to sort this out
