Can I log in MSN messenger with yahoo id?

Trying to sign into Yahoo Messenger, it won't log me in and says 'Get a new Yahoo ID ..."?

  • I've tried to sign into Yahoo Messenger! about four times, and it takes forever and then sends me back to the type in your Yahoo ID and Password page and says "Get a new Yahoo ID ..." Well, I know for a fact my Yahoo ID is valid, and the password I am typing in is correct. Can someone please tell me how I can log into my account? I'm NOT going to make a new ID, that's ridiculous. Have I been hacked, or is this a crazy glitch? Someone PLEASE help, as I cannot find any way to contact the actual YAHOO people on this website! If you could tell me how to do that, I'd be grateful, too! Thanks.

    Turn your computer all the way off and then back on again. My Yahoo mail did the same thing to me and that's what I did. Turning it off and then on again reset the machine and let me in.

yes there is problem ...it happend b4 ...so u can log in later good luck :)

Yahoo is apparently doing server maintenance as no one can log in for the pat hour. careful trying to sign in too many times because then you will get a message that you have exceeded your number of sign in tries and they will lock your account for 24 hours.
