How do you get a Yahoo! messenger?

How do you get yahoo, in a timely manner, to help you to get messenger to work?

• Since messenger quit working monday evening I have uninstalled all Yahoo software and downloaded and installed it 4 times. Messenger will not sign in and eventually locks up. The last time I uninstalled nortons found 2 malicious scripts in the program I had downloaded from yahoo. I have been in touch with yahoo techs and they are asking questions that are impossible to answer, like what version I have. I can't get it to load to find out. I think they should know which version is online this week. I don't think yahoo tech reps pay attention to their customers. every time I try to get yahoo to work, when I sign out of my ISP, an error comes up telling me too reinstall ISP software. It doesn't happen unless I try to open Messenger. I think the techs should hsve helped with this without asking impossible questions.
