Why wont yahoo messenger with voice wont let me sign in?

there have been problems with the server. Just be patient. Also you may want to try changing your proxy settings that sometimes helps.

yahoo maybe having problems or maybe your not typing in your password right

I have the same problem sometimes...It could be a slow connection, overloaded server, or a technical problem not addressed yet...

You have to click on this word at the top of the messanger (messanger) then select no proxes mode , I did it for my problem that was same with your problem.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!! I've wanted to freakin punch a hole in the wall! Two nights ago I was logged out for no reason at all and it wouldn't log back in for anything. Yesterday morning I downloaded the very latest version of yahoo messenger and ALAS! I got logged in! But I keep getting logged out every so often for no reason and then it'll log right back in. I wrote yahoo customer service about it. I was supposed to recieve a response within 24 hours and I have yet to get it. But you know what really burns me? Is that if they're having problems with their servers or with bugs with the version of messenger...they should POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT somewhere on their site to let everyone know! They completely leave us in the dark about everything. At least on myspace when they're having a problem with something, they post a message so everyone knows. That's called good customer service. I think yahoo needs to take a few steps up in the customer service department.

click on 'messenger' on ym & then click 'connection preferences'.there're 4 options.try changing it to each one of them & signing in until you are able to access ym properly.hope that helped-cheers
