Why yahoo messenger 8.1 doesn't work?

  • after installed yahoo messenger 8.1, I can't see the message I sent to my friend and I can't see the message my friend sent to me, why is that? and how can I fix it? now I can't talk with anyone on my contact list, because I can't see the text at all.

    Messenger 8.1 sucks >> Go to control panel>Add/remove programs>uninstall The version-8.1-after uninstalling go to start>search files and folders..type in yahoo messenger,.do a search . ..delete everything that shows in search window..restart your system go to http://www.oldversion.com and download the version 7.0 or7.5

Anything above Windows live 7.0 and Yahoo 7.0 doesn't work well for me. I had to go back to the old version of Yahoo because nothing worked (no music, no access to the chat rooms, never auto logged in even though it was set for that ect.) and with Windows life, the new version doesn't auto log in, but the older version would. Just use the older version.

Don't know what's wrong but 8.1 works for me. Maybe try reinstalling it again.
