I have an error, using the new Yahoo! Messenger Beta.?

When I sign in, it's fine; When I view my contact list, it's fine; But when I click to IM someone, the IM box comes up as a big white blank. I've tried signing off and back in again, no luck. Any ideas?

I have errors too, thats why I do not use their beta software. Bugs Expected To Appear. Actually, I do not use any of their software due to privacy concerns, the ease of hacking their servers, unscrupulous employees paid minimum wage, etc ... Update java or flash to latest version might help, but no guarantees and if you are on dialup that will take a while.

I had so much trouble with the new messenger on my laptop and my main computer than i just took it off and used the old version. my husband uses the old version in iraq so now i have no problems
