What has happened to Yahoo chat?

  • I have not been able to enter a chat room for over 2 months! Every time I click on a chat room, it doesn't work. All I get is this message: "Signing in to chat took longer than expected." I am using version 8 of Messenger and I have deleted all my cookies, temp files and browsing history.

    I was wondering why this was happening...it has really gone downhill hasn't it? I also cleaned up my computer and it is still ths way....sorry for yu but the same is happenig to other people I knwo...I have DSL and this now is slower than dialup Thanks Lioncourt

yahoo has PMS sometimes. It does it to me alot, I just keep trying till I get in.I am sorry I cant give u an intelligent answer. I blame it on yahoo for messing my mind up.LOL,Nothing in chat no more but bots and alot of angry ppl I have found.OMG way to many angry ppl.Not sure why,,but Its impossible to get in and when u do, someone boots u out.
