Why can't I make PC to PC calls with Messenger anymore?

I am using messenger but can't make pc to pc calls?

I am using Yahoo Messenger with Voice Beta but i cant make rather receive pc 2 pc calls. That happens to me sometimes. What I did was I tried to minimize the number of applications running on my computer because it takes a lot of memory. Then I opened YM again and tried to call and it worked.
