Why is yahoo messenger acting like this and how can I fix it?

I accidently signed up for a Yahoo! India account with my Yahoo! Messenger...How can I fix this problem?

• I do not know how it happened but I misstakingly added the India! Yahoo! account to my Web browser and I do not know how to change my information...My regular e-mail account is the USA Yahoo! but my Yahoo! Messenger account is from India...Please advise. Also, I would like to mention a problem that I have experienced with Facebook lately! I received a supicious link while I was in a chat session the other day...I received a reply of the exact message that I had just texted to someone in my e-mail window...The Username was a series of numbers without a name attached...Subsequently, the same thing continued to happen,...with different people while I was chatting with them. Long story short-I reported this information to Facebook and that is where the nightmare began! They requested that I reset my Password. I did that and then I received a notice from them to Secure My Account with yet ANOTHER password...They sent me a reset code which no longer worked because I had already updated my password the second time on the Security page/ Then they advised me that I had to reset all of my other passwords with accounts that I had linked with my Facebook account. I contacted Yahoo! and reset my password...No problem...I logged in the very next day. I repeated this password reset function several times with multiple passwords and reset codes. Finally, I got fed up and contacted their Security department as I felt that the problem was with them. It was not and they reciprocated my request by Disabling My Account until further investigation can be made. It has been 7 days now and Facebook has denied me access to my account and I cannot set up another account with them until Security clears my account. I have had to reset passwords on 7 other accounts that I had due to Facebook's request that I change all of my passwords linked with my account with them...They have also denied me access to my 2500 contacts/friends associated with that acccount and promptly cleared my Cache the following day...I cannot sent mail on my other accounts because I have lost all of my e-mails now. Has anyone else had this horrible experience with Facebook? Just wondering. I refuse to change my passwords on my linked accounts again until I get this situation resolved with them...I am thinking of closing my account with them and then re-opening it a month later to avoid the hassle of resetting my password...Or requesting that they add a Security question to my account for me to verify before they reset my password again. Also, they have a Mobile access now and I signed up for that the same day that my account was Disabled so I am anticipating a rejection from that department...Please help me get this matter resolved...I am at my wit's end with Facebook...On the other hand, I would like to commend Yahoo! for the smooth transition that occurred when I reset my password with all three of my Yahoo! accounts...You are to be commended for your efficiency and your professionalism in the way that you handled my account.   Hey Dawn, Sounds like the root of the problem is your original mistake made in the browser and the interpretation that data set in motion. Not only do you need to fix the parameter in the browser, but you need to be persistent with Yahoo until the help you get it right. I had a couple more funny suggestions, sorry, cannot help myself: Move to India, or Join Witness Protection with a New Identity. Silliness aside, click the Yahoo search and follow as the appropriate links - be persistent, and try to get someone live on the phone.
