Why can't I connect to my Yahoo messenger?

Well today is 22 of july and again yahoo messenger is messed up does anyone know why we cant connect.?

  • since 330pm today havent been able to connect to yahoo messenger. thought it was my comp, than thought i would change my pswd. that wasnt it my sisterinlaw is having same problem we live in missoure does anyone know what is going on this time, is it a power failure some were. wishe someone at yahoo would tell me these things this is getting rediculous. please help if u can . thank you valorie

    Yahoo! Server seems to be down for some unknown reasons. Dont panic. Everything will be all right shortly. Have patience please and just wait and watch. Yahoo! will rectify the errors.

I think theres something wrong with yahoo messenger.Iwas having a problem too Ive been trying to sign in for almost 5 hrs. now. I also thought that theres something wrong with my computer but now I realized that its not my computer but its the Yahoo messenger itself.Im frm california...and this is also the first time happened to me..

i'm in NC and messenger is screwed up here to, but i am still able to log into my mail so as it appears noone has been able to crack my password , but then again mine is 16 charictors with a mix ov #'s and letters

Yahoo services were attacked today at roughly 3:50pm EST by massive I.P. redirects resulting in the shutdown and breach of thousands of user accounts. A spokesperson for Yahoo Inc. said that they are aware of the problem and will have services restored as soon as possible. They also added that the security breech was a flaw in the new firewall services currently in beta testing for new upcoming release of Windows Vista, scheduled for release early next year. Yahoo has asked users to secure their accounts by confirming their identity and or changing passwords to a secure, undetectable one which consists of no less than 10 characters of numerals and letters. CNN had contacted Yahoo headquarters for comment but no calls were returned. once you're changed your pass word stay logged in to either your mail , 360 , games, ect. they can't get your password if you're logged in.

well i also thought that was my computer, but then i noticed that is not just yahoo who is having problems, also myspace is down...so i think something must have happened cause nothing is working..and now im too bored and i need some fun with my friends ......so damn!!! yahoo and myspace are not working!!

Oh no the world is coming to an end. Yahoo services are malfunctioning and everyone has gone mad. Hopefully no one starts a riot. Practice a little patience and pretty soon everything will be right in the world of Yahoo. 2 point score!
